Registration system: The registration system of OPMs participating in this matching programme is referred to as OPM/Central-1, Civil Service Retirement and Insurance Records 73 FR 15013 (20 March 2008), amended 80 FR 74815 (30 November 2015). Authority for the implementation of the matching program: OPM`s power to participate in this match program is derived from 5 U.S.C. 8332(j) and 8422(e)4 SSA is authorized to participate in this game program pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1306. The Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C§ 552 bis) requires a computerized comparison program for any computerized comparison of two or more automated registration systems or a registration system with non-federal records, in order to ensure the validity or compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by applicants, recipients or recipients of services, members or service providers in respect of benefits in cash or in kind or payments made under federal benefit programs.
